IMPACT & OUTCOMES
This project improved efficiency and precision in management, making overall operations smoother:
Training time for new operations team members was significantly reduced, and the system's usability score (SUS) increased from 57.5 to 85.
Over 150 stores have adopted the new automated system, effectively preventing order overflow issues.
The system integrates billing, kitchen operations, and the user-facing app, enabling real-time order status updates and automatic report generation.
This solves the previous problem of order overload caused by data delays, allowing restaurant teams to collaborate as efficiently as tech companies.Payment and invoicing processes are also integrated, making transactions simpler and more seamless.

Reflection
This project gave me a strong sense of accomplishment, as I was able to apply human-centered research and qualitative insights to directly support frontline staff.
We streamlined workflows and improved usability—raising the SUS score from 57.5 to 85—and significantly reduced training time for new team members.
With over 150 stores using the new automated system, we effectively prevented order overflow by integrating billing, kitchen operations, and the user app for real-time updates and automated reporting.
Seeing how thoughtful design could truly ease the work of service staff made this one of the most rewarding projects I’ve worked on.
